Brave Boy Knight ~ Yasmina Laveroc (Jaz)

A mundane Child asked of our King
"My last wish is to be a Knight"
The Court they said, "Your Excellency,
The Child he cannot fight"

The King knew that there wasn't time,
For the Child to grow into his shield,
And so he stood before the Court
and Announced across the feild.

"This Child does face a fiercesome foe,
I'd ne'er wish to fight,
He is brave and worthy,
to become one of my Knights."

The King did travel far and wide,
to the infirmary he went,
and taught the Child rule's of our Realm
Sergeants, Yeomans, Gallants.

The Child practiced everyday
with a little wooden sword,
until the King could rightfully say
once more before the Court,

"This Child does face a fiercesome foe
I'd ne'er fight to fight,
but he is brave and worthy,
to become one of my Knights."

Strong arms did lift the Child up,
before the King he knelt,
he swore an Oath of Fealty
and arose with a white belt.

"My Child you've proven all your worth,
Stay strong and do me well,
For Knighthood is an Honor
Swear to stay true to yourself,

For Child you face a fiercesome foe
I'd ne'er wish to fight,
But you are brave and worthy
I'm proud to call you my Knight."

Months went by and the Child grew worse
The King was summoned again,
He travelled night, he travelled day
to arrive at the young Knights bed.

He found the Child tired and weak
and watched as he did fade,
at last the King couldn't help but ask,
"Child are you not afraid?"

"My King I face a fiercesome foe,
a hopeless battle I fight,
but you taught me to be brave and true,
the day you made me your Knight."

Ne'er before and ne'er again,
was a boy so swore to fight,
then the mundane Child who started out,
and Died a Brave Boy Knight.

Silent Knight ~ Andrew MacRobb

Words by : Andrew MacRobb
Tune of : Silent Night

Silent knight, unconscious knight,
On the ground, lost the fight,
Mighty backhand from a big broadsword,
Wielded by a whitebelted lord,
Sleep in heavenly peace,
Sleep in heavenly peace.

Silent knight, unconscious knight,
Marshalls cry, "Hold the fight!",
Chiurgeons bring the stretcher out,
Wonder if he's fought his last bout,
Look at that dent in his helm,
Look at that dent in his helm.

Silent knight, unconscious knight,
Next time he won't call "light",
Better to die than it is to lie,
He'll just hit harder on his next try,
Rhino-hiding don't pay,
Rhino-hiding don't pay,
